GET YOUR SPOOK ON :-)

HELLO CHALLENGE !!!

We are going to get spooky ,lol habe a closer look here, on all the other DT`s spooky creatione :

I used a little panel , painted it first with green and white paint,
left to dry, and then mixed brown and white, to as very light brown/beige tone, which was painted
all over the surface .
Onto that I smeared a thin layer of glace, left it to dry and then with the thinned brown paint,
painted all over the surface, --- left do dry to create crackles !!

Then I stenciled first the Harlequin using brown Archival Ink,     Coffee  --and then
the 12 o`clock from the Cog Clock stencil.-- the craw background and
Flight of the Bats  all with Archival Ink Jet Black

I found a dry rose branch,  and still with two thorn `s- adhered it together  with
some dried nature straws, to the right side panel, making it look as if one craw just landed in the nest.

I had some tiny pumpkins , very mini , from a flower shop, which I adhered
together with 2 scratches of black fabric , and a piece of tulle swiped around the panel to give texture .  You could use tiny pinecones , or other nature finds , as substitute for the pumpkins !!! Two rhinestones were attached to the tulle on top, and to the "flower" .
Jet Black ink was dabbed onto all edges !!

I hope you like my not too spooky panel :-)

And I hope you will play ,and have the great chance to win

Hugs and love Dorthe

Loving all your attention to detail Dorthe, it makes me go over it again and again as I catch something different each time. It's amazing how the crows come alive with the single dot of an eye with the white pen. The addition of the branch still with it's thorns is a very clever trick or treat element. Inspirational.. Have a lucky day Dorthe and enjoy your family time.

That looks fabulous, dear Dorthe! I like Halloween projects very much, especially those in neutral colors. The background is beautiful and I love the bats, crows and pumpkins. It was a great idea to add a branch with a nest on top.
Have a wonderful weekend! I'll email you back soon.
Hugs and love,
Julia

HI Dorthe. I love your panel. It's so rustic and primitive. It so conveys the mood of the season. Hope you're doing well! Hugs, Sue

I love your subtle weathered crackle - what a fantastic background for your spooky birds and bats. Great use of natural materials as always too.
